My Family

In darkness we are bound forever,
never again to see the sun.
We are the hunters, our prey
so easily found and bewildered
by our majic.
Torment finds us with each
sunset, only to release us once
more at sunrise.
We roam in the darkness,
searching, listening, seeing,
each hearing the others.
Death is our constant shadow.
